Building on its debut exhibition in 2021, Ontario Mosaic Artists will showcase the work of 22 mosaic artists in its upcoming ‘Putting the Pieces Back Together’ exhibition. It will feature art by both internationally acclaimed and emerging artists from across Ontario. Gallery visitors will be able to enjoy a wide variety of styles and mosaic techniques, with artworks made from glass, stone, ceramic tile, wood and more.

“Our theme for 2022 is literal for us as mosaic artists, as our work comprises hundreds of individual pieces, each of which must be cut and placed. However, it’s also a metaphor for the last two years, as Canadians start to put their lives and communities back together as the pandemic recedes,” says Pippa Beck, Ontario Mosaic Artists artist and exhibition organiser.

“This year’s show will also include a silent auction for a one-of-a-kind collaborative mosaic, with all proceeds going to the Stephen Lewis Foundation.”
