We’re excited to announce a new partnership between the Society of American Mosaic Artists (SAMA) and Mosaic & Glass magazine! From Issue 8 onwards, members of SAMA will start to receive a printed and digital copy of Mosaic & Glass magazine as part of their membership benefits along with an exclusive discount on back issues of the magazine. ❤️️
SAMA is entering exciting times! After pausing member programmes to establish new focus and foster strategic partnerships to strengthen resources, SAMA is committed to a new era of educating, inspiring and promoting excellence in mosaic arts. Their continued partnership with the Stained Glass Association of America and several regional member groups will send SAMA on the road in 2024 bringing back in-person events and exhibitions and creating new opportunities for members to connect and share their work!
Launched in 2022, Mosaic & Glass is an international magazine that passionately champions the medium of mosaic. It also celebrates the world of glass through one long read in each issue. The next issue (8) will be published in June, when the magazine publication schedule will change to annual and each issue will increase in size. The magazine contains thoughtful and professional writing that’s designed to educate, inspire and delight readers. It includes features and interviews about contemporary and ancient mosaics, plus tutorials and technical tips directly from creators.
We’re delighted to be collaborating in this way to champion the wonderful medium of mosaic that we all love so much! We hope you join us. ❤️️
There are a few important points to note about how our partnership will work in practice:
- If you’re a fully paid-up member of SAMA on 31 May 2024, you’ll receive a printed copy of Issue 8 of Mosaic & Glass magazine after it’s published in mid-June 2024. You’ll also be able to access the digital copy of issue 8 on the members’ area of the SAMA website after it’s published.
- If you join SAMA after 1 June 2024 and before 31 May 2025, you’ll be able to access a digital copy of Issue 8 of Mosaic & Glass on the members’ area of the SAMA website after it’s published in mid-June 2024.
- The same process will apply for the subsequent issues of Mosaic & Glass magazine, which will be published annually from 2024 onwards in the month of June.
- SAMA members will also get a special discount on digital and printed back issues 1-7, which were published before this partnership started (print stocks are limited). The discount code will appear in the members’ area of the SAMA website and you can buy back issues directly from the Mosaic & Glass website.
